BAPTISM          IN MEMORIAM         CHURCH EVENTS           WORSHIP SCHEDULE

———————

Baptism:

On Easter Sunday, the angels in heaven rejoiced with us in the miracle of Holy Baptism of:
– Sophia Ameera Hafeez, child of Gabrielle Miller and Anthony Hafeez.
– Leah Scarlett Ramsaran, child of Jacqueline and Vishal Ramsaran.

In Baptism, God gives us the new birth of regeneration by the power of his Word and Holy Spirit, making us his children and heirs of salvation.  Born again, we are made holy to live the new life in Christ as a testimony to the power of God who in his mercy has saved us from the sin, death, and the devil.  To God be the glory for the great things he has done!  Amen.

In Memoriam:

And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”  Revelation 14:13

Rev. Paul Edward Schulze, 88, of Ocala was called to eternity on February 13, 2014 at his home. Born in Depew, NY he retired to Ocala 23 years ago from New York City. We are thankful to God for the life of service of Pastor Schulze to his holy Church and to our congregation.  Well done, thou good and faithful servant, Paul.

We thank You, O Lord,  for Pastor Paul Schulze and all who faithfully shepherded Your flock here on earth.  Grant that we, too, may be faithful unto death and receive the crown of life.  (Lutheran Service Book, Pastoral Care Companion, p. 119)
